About The Collection

1,000's Of Baseball Cards Found Perfectly In Tact!

(See photos)

I recently learned here in the city of Tucson that the several of the "Storage Unit" businesses often hold auctions to sell items often left behind by ex customers. A few months ago I bid on a storage unit with no special expectations. I won the unit came back a few days later to open it up and see what there was I'd won. To my utter amazement I pulled the door up and immediately saw sitting in the corner a three neatly stacked boxes. I pulled the top away to see thousands of Baseball cards perfectly in tact!! All in protective casing neatly arranged!

I was speechless as a former eBayer I knew immediately what I had here. I went on to discover that the collection stopped around 1990, exactly when the collectibles market started to become diluted and saturated taking away from the true value of the cards. The collection went from 1990 back to the early 1960's. The collection to my delight featured very popular players most on their original ROOKIE cards!!!

The best part!!!

As I said they all were in protective casing in mint condition. The best part is non of them were graded! All of them 100% Raw ungraded, so after a little researched was immediately won over by the significant increase in value once they were graded! So I sent a few off and had them graded (PSA) I received two 9.5's on the cards. I then turned around and placed them with a major Baseball cards seller on eBay. The Frank Thomas rookie sold for $450 bucks on a 3-Day auction with 41 bids!! The Nolan Ryan 9.5 for $128 bucks on a buy it now best offer! It cost me $11 have them graded and a small commission fee...I'd call it a sound investment to say the least!
